What is HUID Number on Gold Jewellery?
HUID number is a Six-digit alphanumeric code that gives a unique number to every gold jewellery item at the time of Hallmarking. The jewellery item is stamped with the HUID number manually at the Assaying & Hallmarking centre.
Natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds cannot be distinguished by the naked eye. Small amounts of nitrogen are present in natural diamonds, however nitrogen is absent from lab-grown diamonds.
